I don't always post my doodles and stuff here because I like to hold my Newgrounds up to a certain standard. Well I gave up so I posted some stuff I think I only had on twitter.

So what have I been up to? Idk mostly just failing at getting an education over and over. Not much animation either. On the bright side though, I still draw plenty for myself. I plan on making a webcomic too. If all goes to plan, it's still going to be months away. Still, you can expect me to be posting it here on Newgrounds as the new multi-image posts should be a thing by then. See you later!

So I'm just gonna say that I don't think I'll be done with my next animation until sometime next year. This is because it kind of isn't a huge priority in my life right now. I am once again actively hanging out on Newgrounds and stuff, I'm just not making things. So, I thought I might just leave this image here. It's a little character drawing that I was using to make a 3d model. Hopefully you'll see this fella in the next animation

Okay so it's been over a year since I did one of these news post things on here. After I got busy with other life stuff, I fell out of my Newgrounds addiction pretty hard. I used to go onto the portal like everyday to vote on stuff, but now I only take a quick browse once a month or something. I've been telling people lately to hop over to Newgrounds after the twitter kerfuffle, so I've been inspired to put my money where my mouth is. Its time for me to relapse and get back on the Newgrounds dripfeed!

If you want to help out, send me your favorite movies and such from the past few months. I'd appreciate seeing some of the cool stuff I've missed out on! Hopefully I can get around to makin some more cool stuff too

Earlier this week I found out that I tied for 6th place overall in the Summer Animation Jams! I was too busy to make a news post about this at the time, and at this point, I don't really feel the need to make a long post. I'm so happy to have participated. I've been exposed to so many talented people throughout each round and I'm honored to be ranked among them. Thank you to everyone who liked my stuff because you guys are the reason I tried to participate in every round. :)

I didn't manage to finish my entry for the last round of the animation jams, so I made a poster for the movie I came up with.

I'm sad I couldn't finish the project, but its not too bad because I can make it into a full video later on if I want. I've always tried to prioritize my life responsibilities over my personal projects, so there wasn't a high probability I would finish this with school starting. Still, I'm glad to have participated in the jams when I had the chance.

If you're wondering what's next from me, you don't have to wait too long. I animated a scene for wesmakowski's Toy Story 2 Redialed, which is planed to release on Halloween. There's a lot of cool stuff in this collab so you don't want to miss it.

Thank you to everyone following me! I feel like I haven't quite earned it because I know most of you are following for the animation jam stuff, but its still cool to see that number on my profile. I'm still going to be making more animations after the jams end, so look forward to that.

I'm sad to say that I won't be making an animation for round 3 of the summer animation jams. Progress was moving somewhat smoothly but I got too busy with some other stuff in life. The only way for me to finish my animation in time is to unhealthily push myself, so I'm making the call to cancel my project. Thank you to everyone who has recently followed me, I still intend to participate in round 4 so there’s more to look forward to.

And now with the sad news out of the way, go play Ashbelt. This is probably the Newgrounds game I've spent the most time playing. I played during a bunch of my classes earlier this year and it's great. My animation was going to be a fun little tribute to this game, so I thought I would mention it in case anyone was curious about what I was working on. I was actually on the leaderboard for like a day when people weren’t good at it yet.

My high score is currently 410 if you want a score to beat.

I got first in the jam thing less gooo! I'm genuinely really surprised by this. I actually had I really tough time making this one. I started late because I couldn't come up with an idea that I was happy with and that I was capable of creating in time. Even after everything started to fall into place, I had low expectations for its performance compared to my previous entry. I was very wrong. I think this is the most appreciated thing I have ever created. Again, I have to thank the voice actors a ton. They sold the effect so well, and that was what my entry came down to in the end. Selling the effect.

I think that after the jams are over, I'm going to make behind the scenes videos because man the making of these things are little journeys of their own.

The other entries where so good. I think the Pico and the Newgrounders one was my favorite, but there is so much to choose from. The Blockhead related ones are probably my favorite of the ones that didn't get top 15. Also shout outs to the madness cartoon because it got me to finally go watch all of madness combat. Good stuff.

I'm a bit stuck on what to make for this next round, but seeing as I made it through this before, I think you can expect at least a small effort thing to come from me.

So I just finished working on my newest animation for the animation jams. I thought I should mention that I wont be home for the next few days, so I'm not going to be able to read most reviews or messages related to the video until I get back. Its a little sad to miss the live event, but I'll make sure to watch it in its entirety the following Saturday.

I can't believe my animation actually made top 15! My baby animation made 7th place and I can't really express how I feel about it. Imposter syndrome really starting to hit because all of the other winning entries are amazing. I sort of feel like I have no choice but to participate in the next round, so I guess that's what I'm doing with my life now. This one's going to be tougher for me because I'm going to animate in a style I don't have experience in, but I'm determined to at least make something that's cool to see.

If there are any animators reading this who didn't participate in the first round, I highly encourage you to join in now. I loved watching the entries.
